Butter boards are a popular new appetizer that's easy to make, easy to clean up, and easy to enjoy. Start by finding a board or tray from which to serve your butter board. Allow the butter to soften at room temperature. Spread the butter onto the serving board a little bit at a time, leaving an uneven surface with low spots to hold the other ingredients. Sprinkle with sea salt before adding toppings such as honey, microgreens, olives, nuts, or even edible flowers.
