The Ateco 823 open star pastry tip is built for bakers and pastry cooks who need clean, defined icing work on cakes, cupcakes, and pies. The 5/16-inch opening produces the grooved ridges that give rosettes, shells, stars, and fleur-de-lis their shape in buttercream, royal icing, or whipped cream. Sold as a single stainless steel tip, size 3S.
